Adult’s View of Therapy

Therapy is not easily described in general terms. It varies depending on the treatment approaches of the psychologist, your own personality, and the specific challenges that you need help addressing.

Therapy is helpful but can also be difficult at times. Since therapy can involve talking about challenging aspects of your life, there may be uncomfortable feelings at times. One thing is sure though, to get the best out of your therapy, you will need to be active and willing to make some changes.
